1964 Ford F-100

This truck was used in construction for the first twelve years. It was then used as a secondary vehicle until 1978 when the original engine quit.

In 1978 a 74 LTD station wagon became the donor for the engine (a 400-M), and Transmission (C-6 rebuilt in 1997 with a shift kit). An Edelbrock manifold and Holy 600 CFM carb have been added to the engine. The ignition has been converted to a Crane Pointless system. The valves were done in 1999 and the engine uses less than a quart of oil between oil changes.

A power steering unit was installed. The pump was from the same donor vehicle but the steering box is from a Firebird. (I know that's a GM product, but that's what we had that would work). Asking $6,000.00

The process of eliminating the dents acquired during it's former life in Construction began after the engine was installed.

The hood was decorated with 90 louvers and the paint was applied in 1987. At that time the seat was rebuilt and re-upholstered and the rugs were added. A rolled rear pan under tailgate was added also. The headliner is the original as is the drivers sun visor, those could use an upgrade.

The custom built dash was installed in 1994 with tachometer, 120 MPH speedometer, mechanical oil and water gauges. Fuel and voltmeter round out the rest of the gauges.

The original gas tank (behind the seat
) has been removed and a 40 gallon tank installed in the bed.

Note: I would like to sell this truck to someone that has the time to enjoy it, if it doesn't sell I guess I'll just keep it another 42 years.

The total mileage for this truck is 267,000.
